About our foodbank

Since the launch of the Irlam and Cadishead foodbank in September 2016, we now have over fifty local volunteers, spearheaded by five trustees in conjunction with the Trussell Trust and several local Churches.

The volunteers have been meeting at St Joseph the Worker church, Irlam.

To make the foodbank successful we still need more volunteers and resources from the community and local businesses.

Can you help? Do you want to volunteer? Do you have spare time or can you make a donation or contribution?

The foodbank is now up and running and donations are received on Monday afternoons, between 12pm and 1.30pm and we are open to distribute food parcels to clients each Tuesday morning between 9.30 until 12.30 when we close.

If you are able to assist in this worthy cause, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
